FAQs
WHY SHOULD I PARTICIPATE?
Beyond the attractive prizes, the challenge allows you firsthand interaction with the managers from IPP (APEX). You'll gain insights as to what drives a successful top advisory, and explore if a career with them is the right fit.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE?
The only 2 criteria you need to fulfill are: studying full-time in the penultimate or final year and studying in university in Singapore.
WHAT IS THE TIME COMMITMENT?
Participation in the first stage involves writing a proposal (max 1000 words) and completing an application form. If your team is shortlisted for the finals (25th Feb 2017), you'll refine your presentation with your mentor, before the finals where you get to present your proposal.
DOES MY TEAM HAVE TO COME FROM THE SAME SCHOOL?
No. As long as all members fulfill the criteria, you're welcome to participate.
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE MY PROPOSAL?
Your proposal should concisely describe your solution. Text in graphics, charts & illustrations, as well as Appendices, count towards the 1000-word maximum. The proposal should be prepared in PDF format using a text processor (Word, Pages, etc.).
WHAT IF I HAVE FURTHER QUERIES?

The Organiser
APEX stands for Achievement of Personal Excellence!
With the firm belief that comprehensive financial planning encompasses more than just insurance products, a group of professionals left their lucrative careers at an insurance company in March 2008 when APEX Advisory Group was since founded with less than 5 managers and advisers. Till date, they have grown strength-in-strength to have 20 advisers, with nearly half of them certified as Chartered Financial Consultants, one of the top qualifications in the field of financial planning.
While growth is one of their key goals, they keep in mind that professional financial planning for client’s best interests is of top priority because they believe that by doing what is right to help their clients to achieve their lifetime financial success, APEX’s growth and prosperity is also ensured.
